“NON-GMO” Standard
The domestic egg producer, Bingo Farma, became the first in Bosnia and Herzegovina in April 2019 to be certified for production according to the “NON-GMO” standard. This certification ensures that no genetically modified ingredients are used throughout the entire process, from farming to packaging, guaranteeing everyone a natural and safe product.
“Holding the ‘NON-GMO’ certificate allows us to prominently display the associated visual mark, which is crucial information for consumers. Additionally, our commitment to safety is further validated by HACCP and Halal certifications,” stated Nedim Begić, Head of Bingo’s egg production farm.
A Complete Production Process
The journey of these eggs begins at the parent flock farm and the hatchery, both of which operate under Bingo Farma. On the parent flock farm, with a capacity of 23,000 hens, eggs are carefully laid under professional veterinary supervision. These eggs are then incubated, hatching future laying hens. When they are mature enough to lay eggs, the hens are moved to the laying hen farm, where over 55 million eggs are produced annually to ensure a steady supply of fresh, high-quality local eggs for the people of our country.
New Packaging and “Farm Fresh” Label
In addition to their recognized quality, Bingo Farma eggs are now available in redesigned packaging featuring the label “Farm Fresh.” This new design and the choice of cardboard packaging for all sizes, which will be gradually introduced over the coming period, reflect Bingo’s commitment to innovation and market trends.
When you choose “Farm Fresh” eggs on the shelves of Bingo stores, you are choosing assured quality backed by over a decade of experience.
