In an impressive feat, Bingo Group, the largest business group in Bosnia and Herzegovina, ceremoniously opened two new production facilities today, both in the Tuzla Canton area. Investments totaling 15 million KM have improved processes at the textile production company Kaletex Kalesija and the concrete production company Ingram Srebrenik. This move further strengthens Bingo Group’s position as a leader in investments in the growth and development of the domestic economy.
“Today’s ceremonial opening of the new facilities confirms our role as the largest investor in the development of the domestic economy. The new production facility of the Kaletex company covers more than 1,600 m², while 10 million KM was invested in Ingram for a new concrete plant and supporting equipment. Through strategic business expansion and acquisitions over the past 30 years, Bingo has revitalized numerous plants throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, saving thousands of jobs and ensuring stable growth and development of the company,” said Ljiljana Kunosić, director of Bingo Group.
The 5 million KM investment in the new production hall enabled Kaletex to improve and expand its production and ensure better working conditions for employees. The new capacities include the transition from lohn jobs to the production of work equipment and other textile products. Since Kaletex became part of the group in 2018, production has significantly improved, and the range of products has expanded. Currently, the company employs 70 workers, with plans to further increase capacity and the number of employees, as well as introduce a new phase of production: the assembly line.
Ingram Srebrenik, one of the 11 production companies in the Bingo Group that now employs 200 workers, completed an investment of 10 million KM aimed at modernizing the factory. In addition to the newly opened plant, concrete plant, and supporting equipment, the construction of a new facility and the procurement of a fully automated line for the production of concrete goods have also begun. Ingram’s high-quality products are in demand in Serbia and Croatia, and the company’s exports are constantly increasing. After the opening of this facility, it is planned to invest in a new ecological production line for lime hydration, expected to be completed by the end of 2024.
With today’s opening of two new plants, Bingo Group once again demonstrates its commitment to investments that bring new value to the economy and society of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
