The investment in new, modern stainless-steel tanks, which began in the previous period, will increase the capacity of filtered beer by 25% and meet the needs of the market. The complete automation of the filtered beer tanks was completed in 2023 and was officially put into operation today.
This means that the tanks are functioning with the help of software, which initiates and completes the necessary operations in the system of receiving and delivering filtered beer to the production facilities with complete supporting documentation.
“Automation of the filtered beer tanks means that the operation of the tanks will take place with the help of software, which will ensure electronic monitoring of the quantities of filtered beer, as well as a higher degree of quality and stability of the finished product. Flushing of tanks and pipelines is now done automatically, reducing the amount of lye used until now when flushing the system. I hope that this step is a confirmation of our commitment to be socially responsible and environmentally conscious,” said Fahrudin Salihović, director of Pivara Tuzla.
Investments in 2022 amounted to 2.3 million KM from Tuzla Brewery’s own resources. For this year, the company plans additional investments in the amount of 3 million KM, and the focus of the investment will be on the wastewater treatment system.
