
This activity is supporting the initiatives for introduction of femicide into the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the adoption of a new Law on Protection from Domestic Violence in the Republic of Srpska.
These initiatives were started by the associations “Glas žene” Bihać, “Tim volim život” Cazin, “Izvor” Sanski Most, “Ženska vizija” Tuzla, “Inicijativa građanki/na Mostar” for the Federation of BiH, “Udružene žene” Banja Luka, the Citizens’ Association “Budućnost” Modriča, and the “Lara” Foundation Bijeljina for the Republic of Srpska.
On March 8, 2025, International Women’s Day, more than 9,000 Bingo Group employees temporarily paused work in 230 stores, factories, and production facilities to send a powerful message that violence against women must end.
Bingo Group has already secured 1,000,000 BAM for safe houses, committed to prioritizing the employment of women who have survived violence and will launch an internal support program for employees who are victims of violence.
